GB/T 1632.5-2008 Plastics—Determination of the viscosity of polymers in dilute solution using capillary viscometers—Part 5:Thermoplastic polyester(TP) homopolymers and copolymers
Abstract
This section specifies the method for determining the viscosity (also known as "specific viscosity") of dilute solutions of thermoplastic polyesters (TP) in certain specified solvents. This section is applicable to polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polycyclohexenedimethanol terephthalate (PCT), and polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), as well as polyester copolymers and other polyesters specified in ISO 7792-1:1997, which can be dissolved in a specified solvent under prescribed conditions.
