Abstract
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the water used in preparing concentrated dialysate and dialysate in hemodialysis and hemodialysis filtration. This standard does not address the operation of water treatment equipment, nor does it address the preparation of dialysate for treatment by mixing treated water with concentrated solutions. Only professional dialysis personnel are responsible for the operation.
