GB/T 1094.5-2008 Power transformers—Part 5:Ability to withstand short circuit
Abstract
This part of GB 1094 specifies the requirement that power transformers should not be damaged under the action of overcurrent caused by external short circuits. This part describes the calculation procedure for characterizing the heat resistance of power transformers to such overcurrents and the special test and theoretical evaluation methods for withstanding the corresponding dynamic stability (see Appendix A).
This part applies to transformers within the scope specified by GB 1094.1.
