GB/T 3836.25-2019 Explosive atmospheres—Part 25:Requirements for process sealing between flammable process fluids and electrical systems
Abstract
If the process seal between flammable process fluids and electrical systems fails, the process fluids will directly enter the on-site wiring system. This part of the "Explosive Environments" standard sets specific requirements for the process seals between flammable process fluids and electrical systems. It specifies the assessment, manufacturing, and testing requirements for single process sealing devices, dual process sealing devices, and additional secondary process sealing. The requirements of this part do not apply to conduit sealing devices, cable entry devices, and other wiring sealing methods covered by the GB/T 3836 series or other standards. This part does not address basic electrical safety and explosion-proof performance requirements, but it may also apply to these devices. It does not address the environmental impact of leaks.
