This standard provides the types of dose measurement systems used for calibration and quality assurance in commercial radiation processing, the method of expressing absorbed doses, and the evaluation of the uncertainty of dose measurements. For the calibration of analytical instruments, refer to the relevant standards for dose measurement systems.
