GB/T 34005-2017 Determination of water vapour transmission properties of preformed pipe insulation
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instrumentation, specimens, test procedures, result calculation and expression, and test reports for the water vapor permeability performance test of tubular insulation products in a steady state.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the water vapor permeability performance of homogeneous insulation materials and their tubular insulation products with a complete skin on the surface or with other materials bonded to the surface, used in buildings and industrial equipment.
The wet flow density and moisture permeability of materials are related to the thickness of the tested specimens. For homogeneous materials, the moisture permeability coefficient is a unique property of them.
If the tubular insulation products are processed from flat products, the water vapor permeability performance of the flat products can be determined by directly testing the flat products in accordance with GB/T 17146.
