GB/T 14598.121-2017 Measuring relays and protection equipment—Part 121:Functional requirements for distance protection
Abstract
This part of GB/T 14598 specifies the minimum requirements for the function and performance evaluation of distance protection on three-phase power system lines, which are generally used for, but not limited to, effective grounding. This part also specifies the way to record and publish the results of performance tests.
This part covers distance protection functions whose operating characteristics can be defined on the impedance plane, including protection function specifications, measurement characteristics, phase selection, directionality, start-up and delay characteristics.
This part includes test methods for verifying performance characteristics and accuracy. This part specifies the factors affecting accuracy under steady-state conditions and performance characteristics under dynamic conditions. This part also includes the requirements for protection functions on transformers.
