Abstract
All the provisions in Chapter 1 of IEC 61010-1 are applicable. This document applies to automatic and semi-automatic equipment used for analysis and other purposes in laboratories. Automatic and semi-automatic laboratory equipment consists of instruments or systems used to measure and modify one or more characteristics or parameters of samples. The entire process or part of the process does not require manual intervention. The equipment that forms part of this system is applicable to this document.
