This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging marking, and implementation of the standard for wall coatings used in buildings that are harmful to human health and the environment. This standard applies to all types of wall coatings used for decoration and protection of the interior and exterior surfaces of buildings made of cement-based and other non-metallic materials (except for wooden materials). These coatings are either applied directly on-site or through factory-based painting processes.
