GB/T 6483-2008 Soft mechanical joint grey cast iron pipe
Abstract
This standard specifies the grading, dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and quality certificates of continuous cast iron pipes, as well as their transportation and storage.
This standard applies to flexible mechanical interface grey cast iron straight pipes and stepped-lip rubber ring interface continuous cast iron pipes (hereinafter referred to as cast iron pipes) used for water and gas transmission. The use of cast iron pipes should refer to the relevant technical requirements for pipeline design and construction specifications.
