GB/T 34118-2017 Terminology for voltage-sourced converters(VSC) for high voltage direct current(HVDC) systems
Abstract
This standard defines the relevant terms of self-commutated voltage source converters used in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission.
This standard is mainly applicable to voltage source converters (VSCs) based on insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs). VSCs based on other types of semiconductor devices that can be turned on and off by control actions can also be used for reference.
This standard is not applicable to grid-commutated converters and current source converters used in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmission systems.
