Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of silicone and modified silicone building sealant products. This standard applies to silicone building sealants used for general decoration and non-structural assembly of building curtain walls, as well as modified silicone building sealants used for building joints and shrinkage displacement joints.
