This standard specifies the terminology and definitions, classification, quality requirements, and hygiene requirements for peanuts, as well as inspection methods, inspection rules, labeling and marking, and requirements for packaging, storage, and transportation.
This standard applies to processed, stored, and transported commercial peanuts, excluding peanuts that have undergone roasting processing.
