GB/T 27699-2023 Technical specification for in-line inspection of steel pipeline
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for conducting internal inspections of steel pipelines, the frequency of internal inspections and equipment selection, preparation for inspection work, pipe cleaning before inspection, technical requirements for geometric deformation inspection, metal loss inspection, centerline inspection, and axial strain inspection. It also sets forth provisions for pre-processing inspection data, inspection reports, verification of inspection results, occupational health, safety, environmental protection, and project completion documentation. This document applies to internal inspections of onshore steel pipelines that transport gases and liquids. Internal inspections of submarine steel pipelines that transport gases and liquids can be carried out in accordance with this document.
