This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, testing methods, marking and packaging of thickness gauges.
This standard is applicable to thickness gauges with a scale division/resolution of 0.1 mm, 0.01 mm, 0.002 mm, and 0.001 mm, and a maximum measuring range of no more than 30 mm.
