GB 7258-2017 Technical specifications for safety of power-driven vehicles operating on roads
Abstract
This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for the operation safety of motor vehicles, including their complete vehicles and main assemblies, safety protection devices, etc., as well as additional requirements for fire engines, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles, police cars, and special-purpose vehicles for the disabled. This standard applies to all motor vehicles driving on roads in China, but does not apply to trams and wheeled special-purpose machinery vehicles that are not designed and manufactured for driving and use on roads, and are mainly used for operations and construction on closed roads and sites. Note: Trams refer to road vehicles driven by electric motors, powered by overhead lines, and carried on rails.
