Abstract
1.1 This standard is applicable to the determination of the temperature at which petroleum asphalt becomes brittle and fractures when cooled and bent. 1.2 This standard is applicable to road petroleum asphalt and construction petroleum asphalt. Note: This standard is also applicable to modified asphalt, but the precision requirements of this standard are not applicable to such asphalt. 1.3 This standard does not stipulate issues related to safety. If necessary, it is the user's responsibility to develop appropriate personal safety protection measures before use.
