Abstract
This standard specifies the analysis methods for the chemical components of talc products, including their loss on ignition, silica, total iron, aluminum oxide, titanium dioxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, hydrochloric acid-insoluble matter, acid-soluble iron, acid-soluble calcium, manganese, copper, acid-soluble matter, water-soluble matter, and their acidity/alkalinity. This standard is applicable to the composition analysis of natural talc blocks and talc powders.
