Abstract
This part of GB 17498 specifies additional special safety requirements for strength training benches and free-standing barbell racks used for training, in addition to the general safety requirements of GB 17498.1. This part should be used in conjunction with GB 17498-1.
This part applies to Class S and Class H benches (hereinafter referred to as benches) in fixed fitness equipment.
