This document applies to lanthanum metal produced by molten salt electrolysis and thermal reduction methods, which is mainly used as an important additive or alloying element for special steels, non-ferrous metals, hydrogen storage materials, and magnetic materials, and can also be used as a reducing agent for the preparation of other rare earth metals. This document also applies to lanthanum metal powder produced by hydrogenation and dehydrogenation methods using lanthanum metal as a raw material, which is mainly used as functional materials in the electronics industry, alloy substitutes, other metal reducing agents, 3D printing powders, and additives for non-ferrous metals, special alloys, and special steels.
