GB/T 34423-2017 Small craft—Deck safety harness and safety line—Safety requirements and test methods
Abstract
This standard specifies the performance, specifications, marking, and testing methods for deck safety harnesses and safety ropes on yachts. This standard applies to the following specifications of deck safety harnesses and safety ropes: a) Specification 1: Greater than 50 kg; b) Specification 2: Greater than 20 kg but not exceeding 50 kg; c) Specification 3: Not exceeding 20 kg. The above are the specifications requirements for deck safety harnesses or safety ropes that all personnel on the open-air cockpits or working decks of recreational boats during navigation should wear. This standard does not apply to hanging harnesses, sailboat harnesses, motorboat seat belts, or harnesses used to prevent people from falling from heights, etc. 1) Multiple sizes are allowed.
