GB 27607-2011 Mechanical press—Safety requirements
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, serious hazards, safety requirements and/or measures, and inspection and use information for mechanical press products (hereinafter referred to as presses).
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, modification, and use of presses and auxiliary equipment that form part of presses, as well as equipment integrated into automated production lines. This standard does not apply to the following types of machinery:
—— Shearing machines;
—— Machines for mechanical connections, such as riveting machines;
—— Bending or folding machines;
—— Straightening machines;
—— Rotary head presses;
—— Extruders;
—— Hammer or hot forging presses;
—— Metal powder presses;
—— Punching machines for processing steel structure profiles;
—— Screw presses;
—— Special punching machines designed for punching profiles (such as steel structures).
