GA 1205-2014 Fire blankets
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fire blankets.
This standard applies to single-person use and non-reusable fire blankets, which are mainly used to extinguish small initial fires, such as extinguishing the ignition of cooking materials in cooking utensils (i.e., Class F fires).
Note: Fire blankets can also be used to extinguish fires on people's bodies.
