Abstract
This document describes the method of testing ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol, and n-butanol in blood and urine using headspace gas chromatography (HS/GC) and headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS/GC-MS).
This document is applicable to the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of ethanol, methanol, n-propanol, acetone, isopropanol, and n-butanol in blood and urine using headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Other body fluids and non-biological samples can be used as reference for analysis.
