Abstract
This standard specifies the general requirements for the evaluation of the qualification and competence of inspection and testing institutions in terms of organization, personnel, site environment, equipment and facilities, and management systems.
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the qualification and competence of inspection and testing institutions that issue data and results with evidentiary value to the public, and is also applicable to the self-evaluation of inspection and testing institutions.
