GB/Z 20177.3-2006 Control network LONWORKS technology specification—Part 3:Free-topology twisted-pair channel specification
Abstract
This part of GB/Z 20177 specifies the channel specifications for free topology twisted-pair cables. This type of channel supports a communication rate of 78.125 kbit/s between multiple nodes, each of which consists of a transceiver, a protocol processor, an application processor, a power supply, and application circuits.
This part specifies the physical layer (the first layer of the OSI model), including the interface with the media access control (MAC) layer and the interface with the media. The parameters of the physical layer operations controlled by other layers are also described in detail here.
This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, integration, installation, and maintenance of automation control systems and products, etc.
