Abstract
This standard specifies the composition, basic functions, performance characteristics, environmental adaptability, power requirements, safety, grounding requirements, electromagnetic compatibility, and reliability of portable satellite communication earth stations (hereinafter referred to as portable stations) operating in the Ku band.
This standard applies to portable satellite communication earth stations that operate in the Ku band and use fixed services of geostationary satellites.
