GB/T 33588.1-2025 Lightning protection system components(LPSC)—Part 1:Requirements for connection components
Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for metal connectors in lightning protection systems (LPS) and describes the corresponding test methods. Typical metal connectors include joints, clamps, equipotential bonding strips and jumpers, telescopic connectors, and test disconnect cards.
The connection methods of the connectors in this document include exothermic connection, brazed connection, fusion welding connection, clamping connection, crimping, sewing, and screw or bolt connection.
This document is not applicable to the testing of connectors in explosive environments.
