This document specifies the classification, models, and specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum alloy sacrificial anodes (hereinafter referred to as "aluminum anodes").
This document applies to the design, production, and inspection of aluminum anodes used for cathodic protection in marine environments, freshwater (with a resistivity not exceeding 500 Ω·cm), marine mud, seabed sand and gravel, oil and gas field produced water, and other corrosive media in shipbuilding, port works, marine engineering facilities, seawater cooling water systems, storage tanks, and pipelines in industrial fields. The design, production, and inspection of aluminum anodes for cathodic protection of other steel structures may also refer to this document for guidance.
