Abstract
This document describes the method of determining the particle size distribution of alumina by sieving. This document is suitable for the determination of the particle size distribution of alumina. The dry sieving method is suitable for the determination of the particle size distribution of particles with a particle size of less than 45 μm and a content of less than 50%; the wet sieving method is suitable for the determination of the particle size distribution in the range of 16 μm to 63 μm; and the solvent rinsing method is suitable for the determination of the particle size distribution of particles with a particle size of less than 20 μm and a content of less than or equal to 4%.
