This part of GB/T 14456 specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage of green tea. This part applies to green tea made from the buds, leaves, and tender stems of the tea tree Camellia sinensis (Linnaeus.) O.Kuntze, which are processed through such steps as withering, rolling, and drying.
