GB/T 8897.1-2008 Primary batteries—Part 1:General
Abstract
This part of GB/T 8897 specifies the requirements for the electrochemical system, dimensions, naming conventions, extreme structures, markings, testing methods, performance, safety, and environmental aspects of primary batteries.
Note: Only batteries that comply with Appendix A may be included or retained in the GB/T 8897 "Primary Batteries" series of standards.
The purpose of formulating this part is to ensure that batteries produced by different manufacturers have standardized shapes, compatibility, and functions, and can be interchangeable.
