This standard specifies the type test of the traction system, which mainly includes:
a) Characteristic test;
b) Test methods for verifying characteristics.
This standard does not specify the type test of each separate component.
This standard applies to traction systems, which may consist of traction motors, converters, traction control devices including software, transformers, input filters, brake resistors, main circuit breakers, cooling devices, sensors, and contactors, etc.
