Abstract
This part of GB/T 34520 specifies the test environment, test equipment, samples and their preparation, test procedures, calculation of test results, and test reports for testing the high-temperature strength retention rate of continuous silicon carbide (SiC) fibers. This part is applicable to the testing of the high-temperature strength retention rate of SiC single fibers at temperatures above 800°C under an inert atmosphere.
