GB 5009.89-2023 The National Standards for Food Safety: Determination of Niacin and Nicotinamide in Foods
Abstract
This standard specifies the determination methods for niacin and niacinamide in food. The first method of this standard is applicable to the determination of niacin and niacinamide in infant formula, special dietary foods (excluding infant formula for special medical purposes with partially hydrolyzed milk protein, deeply hydrolyzed milk protein, or amino acid formulas, and infant formula for children with amino acid metabolism disorders), and special-purpose beverages. The second method is applicable to the determination of niacin (or niacinamide) in food.
