GB/T 11603-2006 Wool—Determination of mean diameter of fibres—Air permeability method
Abstract
This standard specifies the test method for determining the average diameter of wool fibers using an airflow instrument.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the average diameter of homogeneous wool fibers that have undergone washing, opening, blending, and impurity removal treatments, including greasy wool, washed wool, carbonized wool, and combed wool strips.
Note: This standard is not applicable to heterogeneous wool fibers. The measurement results for basic homogeneous wool, medullated wool, and lamb wool fibers may be inaccurate.
