GB/T 22705-2008

This standard specifies the safety requirements for the use of ropes and drawstrings on children's clothing under the age of 14. This standard does not include the specifications of ropes and drawstrings.
This standard does not apply to the following situations:
—— Children's use and care products, such as bibs, diapers, or pacifier handles;
—— Shoes, boots, and similar footwear;
—— Gloves, hats, scarves;
—— Ties on shirts or T-shirts;
—— Belts and wrist guards;
—— Religious clothing and festive clothing;
—— Professional sports clothing and clothing worn only during specific periods and under supervision, such as rugby shorts, suits, costumes, and dance outfits, but excluding clothing worn regularly during the day and at night;
—— Costumes worn during performances;
—— Aprons.
