Abstract
This part of GB/T 17178 specifies requirements for both testing laboratories and clients to guide the consistency assessment process. These requirements are necessary to ensure the compatibility of test results across similar implementations performed by different testing laboratories. It is essential that the results of tests on similar implementations be comparable. Various implementations may support only one basic specification, or they may support multiple basic specifications or one or more profiles based on one or more basic specifications. This part also provides certain guidelines for the consistency assessment process.
