JJG 455-2000 Working Dynamometers
Abstract
This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of tubular force gauges, mechanical tensiometers, tensiometers, push-pull gauges, axial force gauges, tension gauges, and other working force gauges (hereinafter referred to as force gauges). The verification of special force gauges shall be conducted in accordance with this procedure.
Note: The tension gauges referred to in this procedure are those used to measure the tension of belts and cables, and do not include tension gauges used to measure surface tension of liquids and the tension of mesh fabrics.
