GB/T 5842-2006 Liquefied petroleum gas cylinders
Abstract
This standard specifies the type, materials, design, manufacturing, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation, and service life of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.
This standard applies to welded steel cylinders (hereinafter referred to as "cylinders") used under normal ambient temperatures (–40°C to 60°C), with a nominal working pressure of 2.1 MPa and a nominal volume not exceeding 150 L, which can be repeatedly used to store liquefied petroleum gas (which shall comply with the provisions of GB 11174).
