GB/T 8019-2025 Determination of gum content in fuels—Jet evaporation
Abstract
This document describes the determination methods for the actual gum content of military diesel and aviation fuel, as well as the gum content of automotive gasoline and other volatile fractions (including products containing alcohols, ether-based oxidation compounds, and deposit inhibitor additives).
Note 1: For the determination of the actual gum content of diesel, refer to military diesel, but in the precision test, the samples included have a 95% recovery temperature of less than 345 ℃.
Note 2: The determination methods and precision for the gum content of other volatile fractions refer to automotive gasoline.
Note 3: In this document, aviation fuels include aviation gasoline and jet fuel.
This document is applicable to the determination of the actual gum content of military diesel and aviation fuel, as well as the determination of the unwashed gum content and solvent-washed gum content of automotive gasoline and other volatile fractions.
