This part of GB/T 12343 specifies the basic requirements, technical methods, and comprehensive requirements and technical indicators for the compilation of 1:500,000 and 1:1,000,000 topographic maps.
This part is applicable to the compilation of 1:500,000 and 1:1,000,000 topographic maps. The geographic base maps for the compilation of topographic maps at corresponding scales can also be used as a reference.
