Abstract
This part of GB/T 18570 specifies the laboratory method for determining the water-soluble chlorides on the surface of steel materials.
This part is applicable to the determination of chlorides on the surface of steel materials before, during, or after cleaning, and is also applicable to surfaces that have been previously coated with paint. It is typically used for samples of steel surfaces from the field that have undergone laboratory cleaning treatment.
