This document specifies the geometric accuracy and working accuracy tests for vertical internal broaching machines with the Z-axis providing the main cutting motion. It also stipulates the tolerances applicable to ordinary precision vertical internal broaching machines corresponding to the aforementioned tests. The document explains the concept, configuration, and characteristics of vertical internal broaching machines, and provides relevant terminology and axis names. This document only applies to the accuracy tests of vertical internal broaching machines, and is not applicable to the operational tests (such as vibration, abnormal noise, and creep of moving parts) and parameter tests (such as speed and feed rate tests) of vertical internal broaching machines, which are typically conducted before the accuracy tests of vertical internal broaching machines.
