Abstract
This document specifies the sampling, principles, reagents, instruments and materials, preparation work, experimental steps, result calculation, and precision for the gas chromatography determination of hydrocarbon impurities in coking toluene. This document is applicable to the determination of hydrocarbon impurities in coking toluene, including benzene, C8 aromatic hydrocarbons, and non-aromatic hydrocarbons up to n-nonane. The measurement range (mass fraction) of each group of impurities by internal standard method is 0.01%~0.03%; and the measurement range (mass fraction) of each group of impurities by area normalization method is 0.002%~1.60%.
