Abstract
This standard specifies the materials, types, and basic dimensions of active OCu intrauterine devices (IUDs), as well as their compatibility, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, storage, and sterilization expiration dates. This standard applies to OCu IUDs and other metal-ring-shaped intrauterine devices (hereinafter referred to as IUDs). These products are placed in a woman's uterine cavity for contraceptive purposes.
