Abstract
This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test equipment, sample preparation, measurement steps, test results, and evaluation for the continuity test of plating layers using the sodium polysulfide method.
This part is applicable to inspecting the continuity of metal plating layers on the surface of copper conductors in wires and cables (such as tin, silver, and nickel plating layers, etc.).
This part is equivalent to GB/T 4909.10-2009, but regardless of the method used, the requirements for metal plating layers specified in the product standard should be met.
This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 4909.1-2009.
