This standard provides a description and requirements for marine coaxial cables.
Marine coaxial cables are mainly used in high-frequency signal equipment (such as signal frequencies greater than 105 Hz) where this high-frequency signal is asymmetric relative to ground. They are primarily used for interconnecting radio and radar equipment.
