Abstract
This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and contract content for general industrial aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips. This part is applicable to general industrial aluminum and aluminum alloy rolled plates and strips, but not to those for deep drawing, painting, anodizing, curtain walls, PS plate bases, or other special purposes, nor to military-grade aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips.
