Abstract
This document describes the principles, testing instruments, samples, testing procedures, evaluation of test results, presentation of results, and test reports for the scratch resistance tests on the surfaces of artificial leather and synthetic leather using the metal scratch method (Method A), the paperclip scratch method (Method B), and the rotary scratch method (Method C). This document is applicable to the determination and evaluation of the scratch resistance of the surfaces of artificial leather, synthetic leather, and their products.
